A TikTok couple went viral after predicting how the Crisp Apple Pop Tart flavor would perform in stores.
The couple post on their joint account @kimandthepapertiger, where food reviews and product taste tests are usually conducted.
In an earlier video clip, the Tiktok duo sampled the Crisp Apple Pop Tarts. Needless to say, they didn’t seem to like the taste of it. The man described the taste as “a little more apple than apple fritters”, referring to the apple fritters pop pie. He also added that “hot is better than cold”.
However, they all agree that they are not fans of the flavor.
“It’s an artificial apple flavor,” the man said.
“Green Apple Jolly Ranchers,” the woman added, noting that Pop Tart has a similar flavor.

In a video that went viral, the man stood in front of the Walmart’s customs clearance area. Boxes of crispy apple pies are stacked on the shelf.
“As expected, Crisp Apple didn’t do well,” he said. “It has been moved to the customs clearance channel.”

As of Monday, the video had more than 649,000 views. Many in the comments, often jokingly agree, also believe that the crispy apple pie will end in clearance.
“I told them! I said ‘crisp apples won’t be delicious! ! It will go directly to the customs clearance channel! “But no, they won’t listen,” one user wrote.
“Yes, as we predicted. See it coming,” said the second.
“The prophecy has been fulfilled,” commented a third.
Other users don’t understand why this tastes bad, claiming it tastes good.
“Crispy apples are my favorite flavor,” said one person.
“But it sounds good,” a second wrote.
Others think the flavor might do well if it were rebranded as “Apple Crisp” and less sour from the apples.
Pop Tarts introduced Dutch apple as one of its original frosting flavors, but it was discontinued. In 2018, the flavor made a comeback in the form of Crisp Apple, but according to @kimandthepapertiger, it wasn’t doing so well.
