Dan Levy Joins the ‘Sex Education’ Season 4 Roster

Dan Levy Joins the ‘Sex Education’ Season 4 Roster New

The roster for Sex Education Season 4 just got bigger with brand-new cast members. Emmy-winning star Dan Levy (Schitt’s Creek), Thaddea Graham (Doctor Who), Marie Reuther (Kamikaze) and newcomers Felix Mufti, Anthony Lexa, Alexandra James and Imani Yahshua are officially joining the cast.

Following the closure of Moordale Secondary, the students are navigating new territory at the high-tech and progressive Cavendish Sixth Form College. It’s every health and wellness nut’s dream with yoga on the lawn, a strong sustainability vibe and even a rival sex therapist on campus. This rivalry isn’t the only thing bothering Otis (Asa Butterfield), as he’s also juggling a long-distance relationship with Maeve (Emma Mackey). She’s living her dream at the prestigious Wallace University in the US and being taught by cult author Thomas Molloy, played by Levy.

Also returning for Season 4 are Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Aimee Lou Wood, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Mimi Keene, George Robinson, Chinenye Ezeudu, Dua Saleh, Alistair Petrie and Samantha Spiro. Although you’ll have to wait a bit for Sex Education Season 4, filming is officially underway and you can expect even more awkwardness (and Levy’s iconic eyebrows).

Gillian Anderson Is in Charge Now 2022

Throughout her career, Gillian Anderson has disappeared into roles: Dana Scully in The X-Files; DSI Stella Gibson in The Fall; Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in The Crown; Jean Milburn in Sex Education. Now Anderson herself is taking center stage with a two-year first-look deal with her company, Fiddlehead Productions.

Netflix have been an inspiring and supportive home for much of my recent acting work so I am excited to partner with them for the television projects I am currently developing,” Anderson, whose portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in The Crown earned her multiple awards including an Emmy and a SAG Award, says about the deal. “We have a shared passion for progressive, compelling and engaging stories and I’m thrilled to announce our collaboration.”

We feel very privileged to be working closely with Gillian on new projects,” Anne Mensah, vice president of UK series, adds. “Her success at Netflix — from Sex Education to her singular portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in The Crown — is second to none and we look forward to launching shows with her as an actress and executive producer.”

Anderson previously served as an executive producer for the acclaimed crime drama The Fall, in which she starred as a detective obsessed with the serial killer she’s hunting. She’ll be returning to Moordale Secondary School in the upcoming fourth season of Sex Education.

The truth may be out there, but over here, the facts speak for themselves: In Gillian Anderson we trust.
